Leendert van der Valk
Leendert van der Valk is a Dutch journalist and journalism teacher. He writes about music for the daily newspaper NRC and investigates colonial history for the weekly magazine De Groene Amsterdammer. Recently, he published the book Vergeten plekken, vergeten mensen (Boom, 2026) which maps out the extent of the Dutch history of slavery.
